I just created a deejay name for myself. Yes, along with the writing, sometimes visual art and almost photographer, I want to dj too. It is DJ Ella Jones. Ella is feminine in Spanish, and when you pronounce it, it stands for "L" in love...like Love Jones...get it?
So my Haiku series continues. This time, the topic is deejays.
Manipulation Haiku
He moves from me to
Her with no seams his mistress
Feels his scratches more

Blending Haiku
Like collages he
Cuts and pastes his rhythms with
Other people’s art

Slow Set Haiku
Cyrano with a
Serato he enchants me
Like snake charmer songs
Lifesaver Haiku
Last night a savior
Between two orbs mixed faith with
Dope beats and saved lives

A new moniker...
Should I say it in Spanish
Or plain old English
I wanna get some turntables I'm into all kinds of things. I had some names for myself, but they were all wack. I need to get better behind the camera too.
Speaking of...that one picture you have came out rather nicely. I have to send it to you.
You know, if you want to try the DJ thing, I might be able to put you on at the Writers' block night.
Holler.
